FAQ: During the Cleanse

What do I eat when I complete my cleanse?

There are two points here: The first one regards prep work. Before any cleanse, you should lighten up – gradually. If you eat everything, e.g. meat, cheese, candy, alcohol, etc, you should slowly eliminate those a few days before and incorporate lighter fare which might include: steamed veggies, wine or sake instead of hard liquor (although, for your education, you should eliminate all alcohol a few days before and focus on hydrating), fish instead of steak and baked instead of fried. You get the idea. The same general rule also applies to the post-cleanse menu. You need to stay away from dense, processed foods. This is where “common sense” comes into play.

I can’t get the Green Juice down! Is it okay if I just skip them? Is it enough calories?

Skip the Green Juice? No way! It’s delicious and the workhorse of Weight Watch Detox. Power through it; it’s got all the good stuff. Good stuff means: vitamins, minerals, nutrients, anti-oxidants, flavanoids, enzymes and more. You could try adding some fresh squeezed lemon juice or having the juice over ice, that may help. If you have to, hold your nose and drink it. Just get it down one way or another. Just keep thinking you are giving your body raw sun shine!

I have a work meeting that I can’t be drinking a juice at, if I eat a light salad, will it totally mess it up?

This is not the end of the world, and you’ll be just fine. Try to stick to just raw foods, fruit and vegetables. Our best recommendation is to schedule your cleanse when your schedule is least complicated.

How long can my juices last?

You should consume your juice within 6 days after you receive it. It’s super fresh, completely raw and unpasteurized.

Will I get light-headed if I’m not eating solid food?

On the contrary, one’s mind becomes clearer and one’s ability to solve problems enhances. This is because instead of large amounts of blood and nervous energies being sent to the digestive organs to break down a meal, that extra blood, oxygen, and energy is sent and utilized by the brain.

Can I drink soda’s, diet coke or sparkling water?

These will all contribute gas to your system, so they are not ideal. Diet coke and other such drinks are definitely not recommended. Try to drink lemon water or herbal and green teas instead.

Will I receive instructions with my juices?

Of course, we send a preparation email to everyone prior to their cleanse.

Will I gain all the weight back?

Hopefully, if weight control is your goal, Weight Watch Detox will put you on a path towards healthier habits. Many people report being able to focus more on what they are putting into their body after a Weight Watch Detox. Make this your goal in preparing for your cleanse, and ask yourself, “What am I going to do when this cleanse is over?” It’s an opportunity to “reset.”

How much weight will I lose?

Remember, this is a nutritional cleanse designed to give your digestive system a rest and therefore allow your body to eliminate toxins. Everybody’s metabolism is different so there is no definitive answer to this question. However, we are sure you will be very pleased with your results. Just don’t snack or sway off the program if you want optimum results.

Why does the juice look different from when I last purchased it?

Our juices are handcrafted, so at times variations may occur, such as:

  • Settling or Separation: Weight Watch Detox juice has no additives, and only additives can prevent the natural settling process. Before drinking, be sure to give your juice a good shake!
  • White Specks: Juices that contain ginger may have white specks in the bottom of the juice bottle. Not to worry! These white specks are ginger sediment, which naturally settle to the bottom of the bottle.
  • Color Variation: The Pineapple  Apple juices may vary in color, from gold to yellow-green to pink to brown. Depending on the harvest and growing season, apples have varying amounts of polyphenols, antioxidants, and enzymes which, in turn, can cause differences in the coloration of the juice. Because Weight Watch Detox uses the freshest ingredients available to us at all times of the year, the juice can vary in color each time you purchase it.
  • Clumps in the Cashew Nut Milk: The protein from the Cashew Vanilla may clump from time to time as a natural side effect. Rest assured, this is completely normal and the juice is still fresh and safe to consume. We suggest shaking well! If you want a perfectly smooth texture, you can opt to strain the Cashew milk before consumption.

Are the juices ok if separated into layers?

Absolutely, we use no emulsifiers, additives or preservatives and a quick shake of the bottle will restore the natural composition.

How do I store my Weight Watch Detox juices?

The juices are best kept cold for maximum enzyme life. The fridge or cooler boxes with ice when travelling are best.

Are the juices to be taken in order?

Yes, the order is conforming to your daily cycle of nutritional needs and the juices should be taken 1-2 hrs apart with none 2 hrs before retiring for best results.
